The Division 2

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has swapped the wintry New York for summertime Washington DC, and is due out in March 2019.

In a section of gameplay shown during Microsoft's E3 press conference, a team of agents explored an overgrown zoo where survivors of the series' smallpox plague were sheltering. The action then moved outside, to the streets of the city, and a firefight against the backdrop of the Capitol building and a crashed Air Force One.

Washington D.C. is on the brink of collapse. Lawlessness and instability threaten our society, and rumours of a coup in the Capitol are only amplifying the chaos. All active Division agents are desperately needed to save the city before it's too late.

Unlike anything before it, The Division 2's Washington D.C. is a 1:1 representation of the real city, making the game world more authentic than ever. The game's map offers up-close-and-personal views of landmarks, natural landscapes, neighbourhoods, and enemy hideouts.

Various factions, vying for power in the wake of the crisis, are aiming to claim D.C.’s future for themselves. Only Division agents are equipped to take on these new threats and protect the civilians that remain.

There is a BETA registration open and for once Ubisoft seem to have made it straight forward lol

  2. Hopefully they expand on this one a lot more
  3. I picked this up on XB1 - seems to be a huge improvment from Division 1. Game play is definitely improved, the movement and everything is so much better. Story line so far seems good. I have only played a little really but so far i'm enjoying it

  4. To my surprise, The Division 2 is a success in every point.

Despite my modest machine with a processor that is 7 years old and a 4 years old graphics card, my game runs at over 70 fps knowing that Ubisoft releases its games not fully optimized. This time, the game comes out with good optimization.

Ubibug? Not this time ... In 24 hours of play, I did not cross any bug and it has the merit of being underlined when we know that the games today are half finished.

In terms of content, the game is very complete ... You will always have something to do ... Quests, main mission, caches for skill points, events, resources to improve your hideouts, your weapons and stuff to craft, dark zone, pvp ...

This game is a total success and promises long hours of play!
